 | Bella Serra means "beautiful evening" in Italian, the language of my previous country of residence. I picture one wearing this little mini shrug on precisely such an evening, thrown over a strappy top or perhaps a dress for a bit of extra warmth on a cool summer night. This shrug only take 2 balls of worsted weight yarn (and only 1 ball for size XS!) and is a very quick knit, with minimal shaping and a fitted shape through the natural stretchiness of knitted fabric. It is knit from the top down with raglan increases and has a neckline and bottom hem decorated with rows of yarn over eyelets. A wide ribbon is threaded through these eyelets and used to tie the shrug in front.
