These quick-to-knit cabled wristlets can be easily embellished using buttons or embroidery. They feature something a little special on the inside: a secret pocket! This could hold anything from a lucky charm or some spare change to a sweet note from a loved one. They're a perfect project for using up some pretty scrap yarn, too. The pattern comes in written instructions.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Length: 9 inches or 23cm, width: 2 inches or 5cm.

GAUGE
18 sts x 21 rows = 4 x 4in (10 x 10cm) in stockinette stitch.

MATERIALS
Scrap yarn in a worsted weight (approx. 30 yards), 1# set(s) US #6/4mm straight needles, 1 cable needle, 1 darning needle.
Embellishments: Wristlet 1: 3 round buttons of approx. 17mm in diameter, wristlet 2: 1 large oval or rectangular button of approx. 50mm in length and 18mm in width, wristlet 3: pieces of scrap yarn for embroidery, 2 round buttons of approx. 15mm in diameter.
